This coffee table is one of my first projects. I used no power tools and all parts are connected using simple joins without any fasteners! The only hardware elements used are for decorative purposes. Made of yellow pine winished with natural wax.

Base is made from Walnut and top is made from Mahoney with walnut inlays. The top board weighting over 200 lb is made from 6 solid planks of Mahoney connected with 30 biscuits. Finished with countless layers of Tung Oil with light sanding between layers.

This entire project is made from lumber salvaged from a stall damaged by hurricane Wilma in 2005. Vertical sections are made from 2X8 planed to 1 1/4" and shelving is made from corral boards planed to 7/8".

Thin table with a small drawer made out of unfinished cedar with a matching wide frame mirror lightly stained with green and red wood stains.
